Professor Xiaojun Wan is a Professor at the Wangxuan Institute of Computer Technology at Peking University. He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. from Peking University and is internationally recognized for his contributions to
Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Deep Learning.
His research focuses on language models (LLMs), including evaluation, trustworthy AI, lightweight models, and cross-modal generation. He has also made significant contributions to document summarization, text generation, sentiment analysis, and multilingual NLP.
He has received multiple prestigious paper awards, including Outstanding Paper Awards at
ACL and NAACL and Distinguished Paper Award at IJCAI, reflecting his strong impact on the AI research community.
Honors: Recipient of IBM Faculty Award; CAAI Wuwenjun Technical Innovation Award; PKU Teaching Excellence Award;
and multiple faculty fellowships. He also serves in leading roles such as Editor-in-Chief of ACL Rolling Review and Area Chair
for top conferences including NeurIPS, ACL, EMNLP, and ICLR.
