Professor Yacine Aït-Sahalia

Professor Yacine Aït-Sahalia

Princeton University

Professor Yacine Aït-Sahalia is the Otto A. Hack 1903 Professor of Finance and Economics at Princeton University. He previously served as the founding Director of the Bendheim Center for Finance and held faculty positions at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from MIT and is internationally recognized for his contributions to financial econometrics, continuous-time models, and high-frequency financial data analysis.

Honors: Fellow of the Econometric Society, IMS, ASA, SoFiE, and IAAE; Recipient of Sloan and Guggenheim Fellowships and major international research awards.


Professor Chien-Fu Jeff Wu

Professor Chien-Fu Jeff Wu

The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen

Professor Chien-Fu Jeff Wu is the X. Q. Deng Presidential Chair Professor in the School of Data Science at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. He previously served as the Coca-Cola Chair in Engineering Statistics at Georgia Tech and held academic positions at the University of Michigan, University of Waterloo, and University of Wisconsin–Madison.

He earned his Ph.D. in Statistics from UC Berkeley in 1976 and is internationally recognized for his contributions to the EM algorithm, industrial statistics, and the early promotion of the term “Data Science”.

Honors: Member of the National Academy of Engineering and Academia Sinica; Fellow of ASA, IMS, ASQ, and INFORMS; Recipient of the COPSS Presidents’ Award, Shewhart Medal, R. A. Fisher Lectureship, and the Monie A. Ferst Award.


Professor Xiaojun Wan

Professor Xiaojun Wan

Peking University

Professor Xiaojun Wan is a Professor at the Wangxuan Institute of Computer Technology at Peking University. He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. from Peking University and is internationally recognized for his contributions to Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Deep Learning.

His research focuses on language models (LLMs), including evaluation, trustworthy AI, lightweight models, and cross-modal generation. He has also made significant contributions to document summarization, text generation, sentiment analysis, and multilingual NLP.

He has received multiple prestigious paper awards, including Outstanding Paper Awards at ACL and NAACL and Distinguished Paper Award at IJCAI, reflecting his strong impact on the AI research community.

Honors: Recipient of IBM Faculty Award; CAAI Wuwenjun Technical Innovation Award; PKU Teaching Excellence Award; and multiple faculty fellowships. He also serves in leading roles such as Editor-in-Chief of ACL Rolling Review and Area Chair for top conferences including NeurIPS, ACL, EMNLP, and ICLR.
